Emily's Bolero Sweater.  Pure cotton hand knitted bolero sweater, shown below in color "natural", provides just enough coverage for your shoulders and arms, without covering up the front of your pretty summer dress or camisole.  The three-quarter length sleeves are delicately edged with picot stitched hems, while the bottom and center front of the sweater are neatly finished in a sophisticated rolled edge.  Sides are short, reaching barely to the waist, and tapered for a trim, body-skimming fit.  The front of the bolero sweater does not close at center front, providing elegantly abbreviated coverage.  The back neckline is gently scooped for a graceful, harmonious appearance from the back of the bolero as well as from the front.  An updated classic, this custom knit sweater will be the one you reach for all summer long, when you go to the movies, to an air conditioned restaurant, etc.  It will be perfect over a beautiful dress worn to a wedding or commitment ceremony.  Machine wash and dry.

Emily's Bolero Sweater was originally designed for Emily, to be worn over her wedding dress, to cover her shoulders but not to hide the front of her beautiful dress.  Best wishes to you, Emily! 

Emily's Bolero Sweater could be custom knit to have long sleeves, if you prefer, or half-sleeves (to the elbow), or standard short sleeves.  All sleeves will have the same picot stitched hems, regardless of length.  See below for sleeve length choices.  The bolero is available in your choice of 49 beautiful colors, and is suitable for ladies of all ages and sizes, from toddlers to women of stature.

Here is a closer look at the front of the bolero sweater.  This is the curved edge of the front of the sweater, near the bottom; the photo shows the careful hand stitching which makes this custom knitted sweater so unique and very special.

Small details can make such a difference in a garment.  The three-quarter length sleeves have a lovely special detail, picot hems at the edges of the sleeves:

Custom knitting takes approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on my schedule. (I'll let you know the exact delivery date when I confirm your order.) Your order will be shipped via Priority Mail (48 hour delivery). FedEx overnight delivery is also available upon request. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal, personal checks and money orders are OK.
