Child's Name Scarf.  Why are children's scarves are so hard to find?  Any mom or dad knows that an adult-sized scarf is just too long for a child to wear, and yet it's almost impossible to find good quality scarves for children.  This personalized Childs Name Scarf is made from 100% pure cotton, soft and comfortable, and is never too warm, even on a crowded school bus or shopping in the mall.  Your scarf will be hand knitted just for your child, in your choice of colors, and personalized with the child's name or initials knitted right into the design at one end.  Choose colors that will match your children's coats or jackets, or colors that will stand out in a crowd.  How about a combination of California gold, black and pure white; or navy, cobalt blue and baby blue; or sapphire (a vibrant shade of pure green), ballerina pink and purple passion?  With 49 wonderful colors from which to choose, you are sure to be able to find something you will like.  Machine wash/dry.

Need help deciding which three colors will look best for your striped Childs Name Scarf?  I will be happy to help you choose.  Just send me an email saying, for instance, "my daughter's coat is navy and pink - what three colors will look best?" and I will email back with a few suggestions for you.  These scarves are also available with just two colors, instead of three (see below).

The Child's Name Scarves shown in the photo below were hand knitted for two little girls as Christmas presents.  The scarf on the left is colors ballerina pink, violet and purple passion.  The scarf on the right is colors Persian green, flaxon and loden. 

For young children, you may want to consider using initials on your child's scarf, rather than a full name. 

Just how long is 36 inches long, anyway?  Here is a full view of the Child's Name Scarf knitted for Piper, size 5 inches wide X 36 inches long.  You can see that this will be a good size for a child ages 5-8 years old.  The next larger size, "junior size", is 6 inches wide X 48 inches long, and is suitable for a child ages 9-12 years old.  Larger sizes are also available.

The three colors used in this scarf are ballerina pink, violet and purple passion, with the name knitted into the design using purple passion. 

Here's another photo of the Childs Name Scarf, this time knitted in only two colors, iris and purple passion.  Alexia was delighted to receive her new scarf at her birthday party this year.  If you'd like your child's scarf to have two colors instead of three, it can easily be ordered below.

Note the carefully finished edge at the bottom of the scarf.  The hand stitching at the bottom edge is done one stitch at a time, a slow process, but the finished result is well worth the extra effort.  See what a difference hand crafted quality makes!

The Child's Name Scarf is a colorful, attractive design which will look nice on anyone, regardless of age.  There are three adult sizes from which to choose:

• Skinny scarf, size 4" X 78", price $44
• Traditional scarf, size 7" X 60", price $54
• Traditional scarf, extra long, size 7" X 78", price $59

Because the scarf will be hand knitted just for you, it is possible to have your scarf knitted in any length and width you want - all you have to do is ask!  Please send me an email with your special request.

Custom knitting takes 3-4 weeks, depending on my schedule.  (I'll let you know the exact delivery date when I confirm your order.)  Your order will be shipped via Priority Mail (48 hour delivery).  FedEx overnight delivery is also available upon request.  MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal, personal checks and money orders are OK.
