Boy's Lace.  Pure white 100% cotton hand knitted crewneck cardigan boy's sweater in a classic, elegant style suitable for weddings, religious ceremonies and other special occasions.  Originally designed for a four-year-old ring bearer to wear in a wedding, this dressy boy's white cardigan sweater has hemmed edges at the bottom and cuffs, for a more refined look than the usual sporty ribbed edges found on most sweaters.  The hand knitted heirloom lace openwork stitching on the bottom of the front of the sweater adds a distinctive touch to the appearance, accented by the dressy pearl buttons, classic and simple.  If you are looking for a dressy white sweater for a little boy to wear with a special outfit, look no further - this one will "make" the outfit.  Machine wash/dry.

And yes, I do make this for girls, too!  Please be sure to let me know if the sweater is for a girl, so I can put the buttonholes on the right side.  There is a "comments" section on the order form where you can tell me "this is for a girl".

You'll note that the sweater shown in the photo has drop shoulder sleeves, requested specially by the customer for whom it was knitted.  Unless you specifically ask for these drop shoulder sleeves, I will knit your sweater using the type of sleeve most commonly found in today's fashions, the set-in sleeve, which has a curved sleeve-to-body seam.  It's the kind of sleeve you are most used to seeing in stores.  You can read more about sleeve styles by clicking here.

Custom knitting takes approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on my schedule. (I'll let you know the exact delivery date when I confirm your order.) Your order will be shipped via Priority Mail (48 hour delivery).  FedEx overnight delivery is also available upon request.
