The slightly tapered sides give a trim appearance to the School Sweater, while the hemmed bottom edge gives a comfortable and durable fit. There are three California gold stripes on the left sleeve of this School Sweater. Having the stripes placed on the left sleeve, rather than the right sleeve, is the traditional choice for this type of sweater, as often seen in college or varsity sweaters.

Classic pockets are knitted right into the fabric of the School Sweater on each side, rather than sewn onto the top of the fabric, and are just the right size for your hand, or for a cell phone, keys and a doughnut or two. The band at the top, knitted in contrasting color, gives a distinctive appearance to the pocket and provides a strong and durable edge.
