Teddy Bear Goes to School.  A colorful, eye-catching design, this hand knitted baby afghan is both whimsical and practical.  A little brown teddy bear sits in the bright yellow school bus, on his way to the school house at the top of the hill.  Hand embroidered lettering on the school bus reads, "Teddy Bear School".  Green grass, stone gray road, blue sky, an evergreen tree and a single, fluffy white cloud all complete this unique, distinctive baby afghan design, which is bordered by narrow hand crocheted dark green stitching.  Now here's something you won't find in every baby stroller at the mall!

This hand knitted baby afghan can be custom knitted to add the baby's name at the top of the afghan.  Please see below for instructions on how to personalize this baby afghan design.

The baby afghan is substantially thick and warm, scrunchy soft and beautifully hand crafted including a full knitted lining for the back, knitted separately and stitched to the front, which makes a smooth double layer of warmth.  It has no fuzzy yarn ends to irritate or tickle sensitive skin.  The back lining of the baby afghan is plain stone gray.  Machine wash/dry.

The hand knitted baby afghan is available in two sizes: 

•  25" X 29", a practical size for the car seat, baby carrier, for traveling and at home, and 
•  34" X 36", suitable for the crib, toddler bed, or stroller.

Custom knitting takes approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on my schedule.  (I'll let you know the exact delivery date when I confirm your order.)   Your order will be shipped via Priority Mail (48 hour delivery).   FedEx overnight delivery is also available upon request. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal, personal checks and money orders are OK.

If you want to put the child's name at the top of the afghan, there is a "Comments" section on the order form where you can fill in the name for your personalized afghan.
